Box Score SAN DIEGO - Heather Thompson had 22 points and 15 rebounds but it wasn't enough as the Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team fell 82-69 to Point Loma Nazarene on Wednesday night at Golden Gymnasium.
Lindsay Uyematsu followed with 16 points and drained a game-high four 3-pointers. However, the Sea Lions forced 22 turnovers and handed the Cougars their fifth loss in their last six games.
CSUSM drops to 8-14 overall. PLNU played the game as an exhibition and remains at 7-6 overall.
Abby Boorman led PLNU with 13 points and a game-high 18 rebounds. Four other Sea Lions finished in double figures.
The Cougars look to get back on track on Thursday, Jan. 23 against Concordia (Calif.) at 7:30 p.m. at MiraCosta College.
