Kai Duarte's second hit of the game and a walk by
Patricia Banda, but couldn't scratch a run across with two outs. The Cougars pieced together a similar rally in the seventh, but
Kaitlin McGinley popped up to end the game with two runners on.
The Cougars will hit the field again Saturday at Biola for another doubleheader starting at 12:00 pm.
