The Cal State San Marcos Baseball team led almost the entire game Saturday afternoon against Cal Baptist, but fell in extra innings 6-5.

Third Baseman Austin Coleman went 5-for-5 at the plate, including a double, and 4 other San Marcos batters recorded 2 hits apiece as the Cougars rapped out 14 hits.

Starting pitcher James Dykstra went 6 2/3 innings, striking out 6 and allowing just 2 runs. The Cougars play next Friday at home against Point Loma at 3:00pm.
