The Cal State San Marcos Baseball team won a pair of games Friday in Phoenix against Arizona Christian, taking the first game 16-7 and the second 6-3.

The Cougars hit 4 homeruns on the day, two of which were in the first game by Anthony Renteria, who now has a team-high eight on the season. Kenny Belzer also hit his 5th long ball of the season in Game 1, while Jeremy Baum knocked his 2nd homerun of the season in Game 2.

Darren Gay and Scott Myers each earned a win Friday, and both now have records of 3-2. The Cougars play Arizona Christian in another doubleheader
Saturday starting at 11:00 am before returning home.
