Cougars Snap Skid
CSUSM snapped a seven-game losing streak over the weekend - the longest such stretch in program history - with a pair of wins over Rocky Mountain (Mont.) and Johnson & Wales (Colo.) at the Arizona Christian Women's Basketball Classic in Phoenix. Heather Thompson registered double-doubles in both games, adding four blocks in the win over RMC. Anna Nguyen registered a career-high 20 points while Mechel'la Logan added 17 points and 10 rebounds in the 79-74 victory over JWU.

Sharing The Wealth
Six different players over the Cougars' first 14 games have led the Cougars in scoring, but none have been the team leader in back-to-back games. Nguyen became the third player to lead the team in scoring three times this season, following Sarah Jackson and Danielle Cooper. Logan, Thompson and Sherika Miller have led the Cougars in scoring twice thus far.

Unfamiliar Territory
CSUSM has never faced Ashford, Clarke, Concordia or Roosevelt in the team's young history.
