Johnny Holtman
A fifth year senior,
Johnny Holtman has settled right into playing his home games here on campus. The 6'5” righty has been a rock in his four starts this season, posting a 2.25 ERA and a 20:8 strikeout-to-walk ratio while throwing a team-leading 23.2 innings on the mound.
Adam Loran
Cougar men's golf is off to a strong start this season, and
Adam Loran has led the way. He came out firing at the squad's first tournament, shooting back-to-back rounds of -1 (71) at the Cougar Invitational at San Luis Rey Downs, tying for 4th at the event and helping his team to a second place finish. Loran then led the squad at Bakersfield, taking 15th in the field.
Alex Miller
It would be hard to top the start that
Alex Miller has had to her Cougar career. The freshman second baseman hit .513 for the month of February, starting all 13 of her team's games. She leads the squad with 20 hits, 18 RBI, 14 runs scored, and 8 doubles. Most recently, she blasted two home runs – including a grand slam – as part of a 7 RBI performance in the team's home opener.
Andrea Talhami
The school's all-time record holder in the triple jump, senior
Andrea Talhami wasted no time setting the bar for this season. Competing at the APU Indoor Invitational, Talhami posted a distance of 11.39 meters, earning her the “A” Qualifying Standard for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in March.
