Box Score Lindsey Mitchell's .368 hitting percentage and game-high 18 kills led Cal State San Marcos volleyball to a road victory over local rivals San Diego Christian College on Saturday. The Cougars won in 4 sets, 25-19, 25-16, 22-25, 25-22.

Andrea Leonard's #15-ranked Cougars, who are now 20-6. San Diego Christian drops to 6-21.
CSUSM took command in the middle of both the first and second sets, leading each at one point by a score of 21-13. To go along with Mitchell,
Brittany Thompson added 8 kills and a .316 hitting percentage.
Taylor DeGraaf was second on the team with 16 kills.
Defensively, the Cougars were stout as usual, led by libero
Nichole May's 15 digs. Mitchell, DeGraaf, and setter
Alyssa Foster added 14 digs apiece, while
Kara Barkdoll led with a solo block and 4 block assists.
San Diego Christian would rally briefly to take the third set, but CSUSM would close things out with a very tight fourth set win, capped off by May's team-high third ace of the match.
CSUSM will play twice at home on Saturday, taking on Hannibal LaGrange at 11 AM then Arizona Christian at 3 PM at Escondido High School.
