For the second time in as many days Cougar softball ran into College of Idaho's All-American pitcher Jody Zillner, and for the second time it resulted in a 4-0 loss.  Cougar softball is now 4-7 on the season.

Zillner limited the Cougars to four hits - two by Melissa Lerno, 1 by Ashley Estepa, and 1 by Alicia Vicencio - over seven shutout innings.  She walked just one while striking out four.

The game was close until the end.  College of Idaho broke a scoreless tie with a run off Cougar starter Brenna Sandberg in the third, and Sandberg would keep the deficit at just 1-0 until the sixth, when College of Idaho finally broke through for three runs to make it 4-0. 

CSUSM will look to get back on track tomorrow at home against Holy Names.
