Cal State San Marcos Athletics

A newcomer to the women's basketball team, Vasquez led the Cougars with 16.8 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game. She currently ranks second in Division II for field-goal percentage at 69.4. The Moreno Valley native tallied two double-doubles in her first four games with a 19-point, 10-rebound performance against Point Loma and a 16-point, 10-rebound performance against Cal State LA. She also dished out a team-high six assists in addition to her double-double against the Golden Eagles. Vasquez was named CCAA Player of the Week for Nov. 15-21 after averaging 17 points and 8.7 rebounds in three games.
