A.I.I. Conference Setter of the Year Alyssa Foster led the CSUSM volleyball team to a tie for second place in their pool at the NAIA National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa. The finish was the deepest the Cougars have gone at nationals in their two-year history. In three games against No. 6 The Master’s, No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan, and No. 21 Viterbo (Wis.), Foster averaged 38 assists, 11 digs, 2.33 kills, and 2 blocks. She finished the season with 1605 assists, good for 7th most in the NAIA.
