Isayan won the CCAA Championships in the men's 10,000-meter final with a time of 30:09.51 – second fastest in program history. For his performance, he earned All-CCAA first team honors. A week later at the Oxy Invitational, Isayan broke CSUSM's 17-year old school record in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:22.65. His month was capped off by earning All-West Region Team honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in both the 5,000- and 10,000-meter runs.
