Darnell Taylor of the men's basketball team has been named the November 2015 CSUSM Male Student-Athlete of the Month. Taylor, a senior guard from Los Angeles, led the Cougars with a 21.8 scoring average and 4.6 assists per game. He’s scored 20 or more points in three of five games this season and is coming off of a 30-point output at Chaminade on Nov. 28. In two games in Hawaii over Thanksgiving Weekend, Taylor went 28-of-31 (.903) from the free-throw line.
