Biography

Before CSUSM: Played three seasons on Varsity at Rancho Bernardo, playing in three CIF San Diego Section Division I Championships and winning one. Hit .319 with 10 home runs as a senior, and was ranked nationally as one of the top-100 high school prospects by Baseball America. As a true freshman, appeared in 12 games for the University of San Diego. In 2005, was a key member of the Palomar College team that reached the state championship. Hit .320 with a team-high .536 slugging percentage as the squad's everyday center fielder. Spent 2006 redshirted at Sacramento State.
