Biography

Before CSUSM: In high school, won Lions Tournament Twice, once as a sophomore and as a senior. Made All North-County 2nd Team as a senior, and was named All-Valley League Second Team. Pitcher of the year for Mission Hills High School as a Junior and a Senor. Union-Tribune All Academic Team as a Junior (3.0 GPA) and Senor year (3.0 GPA). In his junior year, posted a 5-4 record with a 2.93 ERA and 50 K’s in 62.1 innings pitched. The following season, went 9-4 with a 2.37 ERA and 70 K’s in 73 innings pitched.
