Cal State San Marcos Athletics

Zach Ireland was named to head coach Matt Guiliano’s coaching staff in September of 2016.
 
As a former shortstop, the San Marcos native will help coach the infielders at CSUSM.
 
Last season, Ireland was on the University of Sioux Falls coaching staff, serving as the primary infield coach.
 
Ireland has coached different age groups, ranging from 14U to college athletes.
 
Ireland played college baseball at tThe University of Sioux Falls (USF) in Sioux Falls, SD from 2010-13 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management in 2013. He started 154 out of a possible 180 games in his four-year collegiate career. 
 
Ireland attended Mission Hills High School and graduated in 2009.
