Dylan Tye joined Cal State San Marcos as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2023 season.

Tye grew up in San Diego and graduated from Scripps Ranch High School.

Tye started his college career pitching at Concordia University Irvine before finishing at the NCAA Division II level with the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

In 2020, Tye was an assistant coach in a collegiate league, San Diego League, with coach Matt Bergandi where they finished runner up.

Before joining Cal State San Marcos, Tye coached TB SoCal for four years, one of the premier travel teams on the west coast. He assisted with developing player skills and assisted players in the recruiting process.

Dylan graduated from University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2017 with a degree in Psychology, a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Mental Health.
