• Son of Amy and Jon Chelesnik.
• Grandfather Dave Chelesnik competed in track and field at Kansas State University from 1958 to 1961.
• Father Jon Chelesnik was a walk-on basketball player at Kansas State University from 1985 to 1987.
• Plans to major in mathematics.
• Enjoys running, astronomy and astrophysics, and creating digital art with Photoshop.
• Favorite movies include The Shawshank Redemption, Iron Man, The Terminator, Inception, Interstellar, and The Martian.
• Favorite athletes are Eliud Kipchoge, Jakob Ingebrigtsen, and Yared Nuguse.
• Favorite foods are steak, lobster, and pizza.
• Greatest influence is his dad.
• Most memorable moment in his sport was breaking the two-minute barrier in the 800 meters.
• Interesting fact: He can solve a Rubik’s Cube in 12 seconds.
