Competed in five meets.
Ran a season-best 3,000-meter steeplechase time of 9:49.25 at the CCAA Championships (May 4-6).
Recorded a PR of 2:00.16 in the 800-meter run at the Triton Invitational (April 7-8).
Had a season-best 3,000-meter time of 9:31.19 at the Beach Opener (March 3-4).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022 DURING CROSS COUNTRY

Ran in four races.
Turned in a season-best 8k time of 27:38.7 for 68th place at the CCAA Championships (Nov. 5).
Took 97th place at the Mark Covert Classic (Sept. 3) with a time of 28:41.8.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2022 DURING TRACK & FIELD

Competed in nine meets.
Finished six in the steeplechase at the CCAA Track & Field Championships (May 5-7) with a season-best time of 9:43.19.
Time of 4:02.29 in the 1500-meter run at the APU Last Chance (May 13-14) was a season best.
Had a season-best time of 9:10.79 in the 3000-meter run at the Rossi Relays (Feb. 26).
Ran a 5K time of 15:44.18 at the Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational (March 19)
Recorded his lone 800-meter time of 2:06.59 at the PLNU Collegiate Invitational (March 26).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2021 DURING CROSS COUNTRY

Competed in five races.
Made his collegiate debut at the Mark Covert Classic, placing 11th with an 8K personal-best time of 27:18.2.
Placed 77th at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 23) with an 8K time of 28:17.2.

A 2021 graduate of Torrance High School.
Also played soccer.

PERSONAL

Son of Jason and Sherri Anderson.
Has two sisters.
Enjoys doing anything outdoors - hiking, fishing, camping and playing any sport that will keep him entertained for hours at a time.
Favorite movie is "Unbroken".
Likes most about CSUSM is how everyone is so friendly and outgoing.
Intends to go to a specialty chiropractic school, get his license and then open his own practice.
Majoring in Kinesiology.
