SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (2-0-5, 0-0-2 CCAA) had to settle for a scoreless draw in its conference home opener against Cal State San Bernardino (2-2-2, 1-0-1 CCAA) on Sunday at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Scoreless after 45 minutes, CSUSM led the half in total shots (9-5), shots on goal (3-2) and corner kicks (3-0).
- It was more of the same in the second half as neither side was able to put a ball into the back of the net, with the Coyotes leading the period in shots (7-5) and shots on goal (2-1) while the Cougars had the edge in corner kicks (7-2).
