SEASIDE, Calif. – The No. 2 Cal State San Marcos softball team (31–3, 13–2 CCAA) overpowered No. 25 Cal State Monterey Bay (22–12, 7–8 CCAA) on Friday at the Otter Sports Complex, erupting for a 19–6 run‑rule victory in game one before securing a 7–4 win in the nightcap.
