TURLOCK, Calif. — The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (1-9, 0-2 CCAA) dropped its second straight road match to open CCAA play, falling in straight sets (14-25, 22-25, 16-25) to Stanislaus State (4-5, 2-0 CCAA) on Saturday afternoon at Fitzpatrick Arena.

- Set 1 – Stanislaus State used a 12-4 run to pull away, hitting .412 while CSUSM managed a .119 clip
- Set 2 – CSUSM led 20-19 before the Warriors closed with a 6-2 run to win 25-22
- Set 3 – Stanislaus State opened with a 9-3 lead and never trailed, finishing the match with a 25-16 win

- Stanislaus State led in kills (41-37), assists (40-35), digs (74-53), and blocks (7-3).
