PUEBLO, Colo. –
Rasha Badrani of the Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team posted the fastest 400-meter hurdles prelim time at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl.

Of the 22 competitors in the three heats, Badrani outpaced the competition at 58.68 seconds and was the only sprinter to record a time less than 59 seconds. She beat out second-place Kylie Ray of Findlay by .35 seconds.

This is the second consecutive year in which Badrani has advanced to the final of the 400-meter hurdles as she finished seventh at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Badrani will now race for the national championship on Saturday at 6:25 p.m. (PT) on
