INDIANAPOLIS –
Jordyn Brooks of the Cal State San Marcos women's outdoor track & field team was selected to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track & Field Committee on Tuesday.

Brooks will make her NCAA Championships debut in the triple jump as she recorded the 22nd-best mark in Division II at 12.20 meters during the 2026 CCAA Track & Field Championships. Her mark ranked second in the West Region and CCAA.

Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching a provisional standard established for each event. For each individual event contested, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition, the top 16 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted, and for the heptathlon and decathlon the top 16 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition.

This year's NCAA Championships will be held at Emporia State's Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas, and Brooks will compete on Friday, May 22 at 2:45 p.m. (PT).
