COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos women's cross country team took sixth place at the UCI/CUI Irvine Invitational with a score of 163.
 
FINISH LINE

• Angela McManus was CSUSM's top finisher with a time of 22:35.9 to take 12th place.
• Emily Mendoza, Maria Texis and Hailie Lomeli went 43rd (23:57.2), 45th (24:00.1) and 47th (24:01.9).
• Alayna McGarry was close behind with a 53rd-place finish at 24:25.1.
• Elise Ortiz and Emma Mills rounded out CSUSM's scorers with finshes of 68th (24:41.3) and 70th (24:45.5).

"Both teams executed our approach well today. That commitment will help us set up the next part of our season, and we are looking forward to Riverside in two weeks.
