SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The (RV) Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (3-1-2) improved its unbeaten streak to five games with a scoreless draw against No. 12 Concordia University Irvine (4-0-1) on Wednesday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Scoreless after 45 minutes, both teams took two shots for the half while Natalia Huntington had the period's lone shot on goal for CSUSM. The Cougars also took all three corner kicks in the half.
• CUI turned up the pressure in the second half by putting all five of its shots on goal, but all those shots turned into a season-high five saves for CSUSM keeper Allison Marcure.

• Both teams accumulated seven shots for the game while CUI had the advantage in shots on goal at 5-3.
• CSUSM tallied five corner kicks to CUI's one.
• The Golden Eagles had the possession advantage, controlling the ball for 57% of the game.

• Marcure's shutout was her third of the season and 31st of her career.
