COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos men's cross country team took 13th place with 313 points at the NCAA Division II West Regionals on Saturday morning in Billings, Montana.
 
FINISH LINE

• Taking 24th place out of 156 runners, Sankalp Shastri was CSUSM's top runner with a 10K time of 31:21.45.
• Alan Jimenez placed 36th with a time of 31:43.7 while Chas O'Bear notched 66th at 32:25.5.
• Running in their final regional, Ataklty Gebru placed 86th (32:48.2) while Nick Melanese took 105th (33:19.8). Renton McGregor snuck in between them with a time of 33:11.3 for 102nd place.
• Competing in his first regional, Aidan O'Toole took 143rd with a time of 35:33.5.
