ARCATA, Calif. – The (RV) Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (4-1-4, 0-1-1 CCAA) ended its six-game road trip with a 1-0 loss to Cal Poly Humboldt (2-4-3, 1-1-0 CCAA) on Sunday at College Creek Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tied 0-0 after 45 minutes, CSUSM had a heavy offensive presence in the first half, outshooting Humboldt by a 9-4 margin while having all four of the half's shots on goal. Meinardus led the period with four shots, putting one on goal.
- In the 81st minute, outside the box passes from Humboldt's Cooper Stephen to Brandon Gutierrez set up a pass into the box to a sprinting Erwin Manibusan Jr., who blew past the CSUSM defenders and put a shot into the right corner of the goal to give the Lumberjacks a 1-0 lead.
