SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (6-8, 4-2 CCAA) recorded its first sweep of 2023, taking down Stanislaus State (6-8, 1-5 CCAA) on Saturday afternoon in The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Waiving off three consecutive Warrior set points, the Cougars captured the opening set on their second attempt for a 28-26 victory.
- The Cougars took their momentum into the second set, jumping out to an 11-7 lead. The Warriors came storming back to take a 21-18 lead before CSUSM recorded six unanswered points for their set point. The Cougars went up 2-0 in the match with a 25-23 second-set win.
- For the third consecutive set, the Cougars posted a come-from-behind set victory after putting together an 11-5 run to capture a 27-25 win to record the sweep. Â

- Barr's .406 clip is her second highest of the season after making a season-low one error on 32 attempts while recording 14 kills.
