SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The 2023 Cal State San Marcos volleyball season will get underway on Sept. 1 as Head Coach Andrea Leonard announced the Cougars' 26-match schedule on Monday.
Â
CSUSM's schedule includes two home tournaments that features a shared tournament with Point Loma and the sixth annual Cougar Classic at The Sports Center before beginning its 18-match CCAA schedule.
"We are very excited and anxious to get the 2023 season rolling," said Leonard. "We have scheduled a demanding preseason to boost our RPI as a team and help us prepare for the competitive CCAA conference play. Â The 2023 schedule presents two big time opportunities for this program. First, a chance to show the hard work in the spring and summer this team has put in for the opportunity to be tested early in the non-conference, then the highly competitive conference play for a chance to make the postseason. We are anxious to get in the gym and get going!"
