AZUSA, Calif. – The No. 22 Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team (2-2) ended the weekend with its second consecutive win, recording a 74-44 win over Seattle Pacific (1-3) on Saturday night in Azusa Pacific's Cougar Shootout in the Felix Event Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gallegos got things started for CSUSM with a 3-pointer at 7:19 in the opening quarter.
- CSUSM concluded the first 10 minutes of play with a 21-5 lead over SPU, shooting 9-of-15 (60.0%) from the field to SPU's 2-of-13 (15.4%).
- The Cougars finished the first half strong with a 40-20 lead at the break.
- Gallegos led all scorers in the first 20 minutes with 14 points.
- Both teams put up 11 points in the third quarter as CSUSM took a 51-31 lead into the final quarter.
- The Cougars put up their biggest quarter of the night in the final 10 minutes, outscoring SPU 23-13.
- In the second half, Vasquez led all scorers with 13 points while pulling down the most rebounds with seven.
