SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (4-2-2, 1-0-1 CCAA) will return to The Cage this weekend for a pair of games against Cal State Dominguez Hills (1-6-2, 0-1-1 CCAA) on Friday at 12:30 p.m. and RV Cal State LA (5-1-2, 2-0-0 CCAA) on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

LAST WEEK
- CSUSM opened CCAA play with a 2-1 victory at Stanislaus State on Friday night in Turlock.
- After a penalty kick goal by Diana Mendoza in the fifth minute and a Stanislaus goal in the 22nd minute, Nani Kia'aina scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 27th minute to put the Cougars ahead.
- CSUSM then ended the weekend with a scoreless draw at Chico State on Sunday while taking twice as many shots as the Wildcats at 16-8.
- The Cougars held the Wildcats scoreless for the fourth consecutive meeting.

CCAA HOME OPENER AGAINST THE TOROS
- Cal State Dominguez Hills began CCAA action with a 1-1 tie against Cal State Monterey Bay last Friday before falling 2-0 against San Francisco State on Sunday.
- The Toros' lone win this season came in a 3-2 victory at Fresno Pacific on Sept. 2, and since then, CSUDH has gone 0-5-2.
- CSUDH leads the CCAA in saves per game at 6.78 and ranks 21st nationally.
- The Toros are allowing the most goals per game in the conference at 2.22 while having the ninth-best scoring offense at 0.78 goals per game.

- Head coach Bobby Renneisen enters his ninth year in charge of the women's program and 17th overall at CSUSM.
- Renneisen's 2018 team made its second consecutive CCAA Tournament appearance while also handing No. 1 UC San Diego its lone regular-season loss.
- Between 2006-13, Renneisen was an assistant/associate head coach for both the men's and women's soccer teams.
