POMONA, Calif. – In its next-to-last game of the regular season, the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (7-7-3, 4-4-2 CCAA) fell 2-0 to No. 11 Cal Poly Pomona (11-1-4, 7-1-2 CCAA) on Sunday afternoon at Kellogg Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Broncos put the first goal of the day on the board in the 31st minute as Moser made a pass into the left side of the box to Angell, who put a low shot into the bottom right corner of the goal from 10 yards out to give CPP a 1-0 lead.
- After 45 minutes, CPP had a 3-1 lead in shots while taking the half's only two corner kicks.
- In the 79th minute of play, a high pass from Miramontes by the left sideline into the box found Bru's foot on a sliding shot that went into the center of the goal from six yards out to put the Broncos up 2-0.

- Riley Patterson tied for the game high in shots with two while putting up the Cougars' lone shot on goal.
- CPP had a 9-6 shot advantage for the game and took all five of the game's corner kicks.
