HOW IT HAPPENED

  • In the 52nd minute, CSUSM knotted the game at 1-1. After a CSUSM corner kick, Danielle Paulson attempted a header, but it was kicked away by a CSUSB defender right to Natalie Paulson, who put the ball into the upper right corner of the goal.
  • The Yotes retook the lead at 2-1 in the 77th minute. After several back and forth battles to secure possession, Perez was able to get control on the left side of the box and put a shot into the upper right corner of the net from 15 yards out.
  • After Huntington threw the ball in to Nani Kia'aina, Huntington retook possession and made a long pass from the right sideline to the head of Ramos, who put the ball into the left side of the goal from six yards out to tie the game at 2-2 in the 83rd minute.
