TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (10-11, 8-5 CCAA) won its fourth consecutive match with a CCAA sweep at Stanislaus State (8-14, 3-10 CCAA) on Friday night at Fitzpatrick Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- CSUSM scored six unanswered points to take an 11-6 lead that began on a Sofia Hedqvist kill. After the Warriors cut the lead to one at 14-13, the Cougars responded to take the opening set at 25-18.
- After CSUSM took a 9-6 lead in the second set, Stan State rallied back to take a 15-11 lead. The Cougars came charging back to take a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-22 win.
- The third set consisted of 11 tie scores and three lead changes. Behind Barr's seven kills, the Cougars finished with a 25-21 lead.

- CSUSM remains tied for fifth place with Sonoma State in the CCAA standings with an 8-5 record. San Francisco State and Cal Poly Pomona are tied for third with a 9-4 conference record while Cal State East Bay sits in sixth place at 7-6.
- The Cougars completed the series sweep over the Warriors after sweeping them in The Sports Center on Sept. 30.
- CSUSM now has a 9-4 lead in the all-time series over Stan State and is 4-2 when playing at Fitzpatrick Arena.
- The Cougars' four-match streak ties for the second longest in the NCAA Division II era (2015-present). CSUSM's longest streak of five wins occurred on two different occasions – Sept. 1-15, 2018 and Sept. 5-7, 2019.
