HOW IT HAPPENED
- An 9-2 run to break a 10-all knot propelled the Broncos to a 25-16 win in the opening set. CPP hit .351 to CSUSM's .139 in the first set.
- CSUSM battled in the second set, forcing three lead changes and seven ties, but came up just short at 21-25 as CPP took a 2-0 lead.
- Behind a .455 clip, the Broncos took charge early in the third set and never looked back, completing the sweep with a 25-15 win.
