CARSON, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (4-4-2, 2-1-0 CCAA) battled its way to a 1-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills (0-8-2, 0-3-0 CCAA) on Friday evening at Toro Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- The Cougars outshot the Toros, 7-2, in the first half while also leading the way in corner kicks at 4-1.
 
	- Off a long corner kick by Moore on the left side, Paulson headed the ball into the left side of the goal from six yards out to put CSUSM up 1-0 in the 51st minute and give the Cougars the eventual-game winner.
 
 
QUICK KICKS
	- Paulson's goal was her first of the season while Moore's assist was also her first.
 
	- Moore led the Cougars with four shots.
 
	- CSUSM ended up outshooting CSUDH, 15-10.
 
	- This was the Cougars' fifth shutout of the season.
 
	- The Toros' woes continued with their sixth consecutive loss.
 
	- CSUSM now has a 6-5-1 in the all-time series against CSUDH and is 5-4 when playing the Toros in Carson.
 
	- All six CSUSM wins against CSUDH have been shutouts with the last five wins all ending in 1-0 victories.
