SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (5-9, 4-3 CCAA) fell in three consecutive sets at No. 16 Cal State San Bernardino (11-3, 5-2 CCAA) on Friday night in The Den.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Coyotes led throughout the entire first set, tallying 18 kills to CSUSM's five, to finish with a 25-16 opening-set win.
• In the second set, CSUSM jumped out to a 3-2 lead on a Hedqvist kill, but CSUSB responded with a 5-1 run and eventually cruised to a 25-13 win to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
• The Coyotes wrapped up the match in the third set with a 25-10 win after hitting .609 (16k, 2e, 23 ta).

• The Cougars are now 1-12 in the all-time series against CSUSB.
• Four Coyotes had four or more kills in the match with Ashley Robinson and Jenna Patton each contributing a match-high nine kills.
