HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Coyotes led throughout the entire first set, tallying 18 kills to CSUSM's five, to finish with a 25-16 opening-set win.
- In the second set, CSUSM jumped out to a 3-2 lead on a Hedqvist kill, but CSUSB responded with a 5-1 run and eventually cruised to a 25-13 win to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
- The Coyotes wrapped up the match in the third set with a 25-10 win after hitting .609Â (16k, 2e, 23 ta).
