SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – In its final non-conference tilt, the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (2-4-1) fell 1-0 at (RV) Cal State San Bernardino (4-0-2) on Sunday at Premier Field.

GOALS
CSUSB – 74' Michael Maldonado (Assisted by Nicklaus Sullivan)

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Neither team found the net in the first half as both teams tallied three shots for the period while Vincent Saldivar had what ended up being the Cougars' lone shot on goal of the game.

QUICK KICKS
  • The Coyotes outshot the Cougars 9-4, but CSUSM had a 5-1 advantage on corner kicks.
  • All four CSUSM shots came from four different Cougars.
  • All but two games out of 10 in the all-time series between the Cougars and Coyotes have been decided by one goal.
