SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – In its final non-conference tilt, the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (2-4-1) fell 1-0 at (RV) Cal State San Bernardino (4-0-2) on Sunday at Premier Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neither team found the net in the first half as both teams tallied three shots for the period while Vincent Saldivar had what ended up being the Cougars' lone shot on goal of the game.
- In the 74th minute of play, a pass from Sullivan led to Maldonado taking a long shot from near midfield that went in the left side of the goal and gave the Coyotes a 1-0 lead.

- The Coyotes outshot the Cougars 9-4, but CSUSM had a 5-1 advantage on corner kicks.
