SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – In its final non-conference game, the Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (2-3-2) fell 1-0 to fellow CCAA opponent Cal State San Bernardino (4-2-0) on Saturday at Premier Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game went scoreless in the first 45 minutes of play with CSUSM outshooting CSUSB by a 9-4 margin while also leading in shots on goal at 3-1.
- Diana Mendoza, Natalia Huntington and Taylor Moorehead each led the half with two shots each while the Cougars had possession for 57% of the first period.
- Just over two minutes into the second half, Bogan put a pass into the center of the box from 15 yards out on the right side. Losada Lucumi connected with a bicycle kick from the penalty kick marker and put a high, floating shot over the CSUSM keeper's head into the left side of the goal to give CSUSB a 1-0 lead.
- The Cougars once again heavily outshot the Coyotes in the second half at 7-2 while also taking three corners, but CSUSB's defense held up enough to take the 1-0 win.

- CSUSM ended the game with 16 shots compared to CSUSB's six.
- Huntington led the game with four shots while Mendoza had the most shots on goal with two.
- The Cougars had possession for 53% of the contest with 73% of those possessions occurring in Coyote territory.
- This was CSUSM's second straight loss to CSUSB – both times in San Bernardino.
