HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pioneers struck first in their first at-bat, taking a 1-0 lead on Madeline Ramirez's RBI double to right center.
- CSUSM took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the fifth on a 2-RBI double by Andelin off the right center wall who later scored on Donnelly's double up the middle.

- Cougar starter Savannah Coyle (9-1) tossed a complete-game victory, allowing only one run on four hits while striking out seven and allowing no walks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lombardi got things started in the third inning with her first home run of the season.
- Sarah Duran's RBI double to left field in the fifth inning evened the game at 1-all.
- The Pioneers took a 2-1 lead in the eighth inning on a Kyndal Riddell double down the right line.
- CSUEB's Madeline Ramirez hit a solo home run to put the Pioneers back on top once again at 3-2 in the top of the 10th.
- The Cougars would not go away quietly, knotting the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the 10th on a CSUEB error before Coyle hit a walk-off RBI single to give CSUSM a 4-3 win.

- Jayline Sloss (8-1) picked up the win after entering the game in relief in the fifth inning and went 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out five.
