BOSTON – In its final regular season meet of the indoor season, the Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team saw three NCAA Division II provisional times in addition to many top-10 program times at the Boston University Last Chance Meet on Sunday.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Clarissa Garcia set a new PR in the 800-meter run with an NCAA provisional time of 2:13.55, which was also the second fastest in program history. Already with a better provisional time, teammate Ana Mercado recorded a provisional time of 2:16.00 while Emma Mills moved up the charts with the third-fastest mark at 2:17.43.
- Renee Laurenzana posted a new PR in the one-mile run with the fourth-fastest time in program history at 5:07.83 – nearly four second faster than her previous best. Maria Texis joined the top 10 with the sixth-fastest time at 5:19.31.
- Kayla James improved upon her PR in the 200-meter dash with the fourth-fastest time in program history at 26.28. Teammate Devin Yarbrough came in with the fifth-fastest time at 26.35.
- James also placed fifth in the finals of the 60-meter dash with a time of eight seconds flat.
- Teigen O'Donnell matched her PR in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.43 while finishing sixth.
- In the DMR, the team of Luz Mercado, Ana Mercado, Clarissa Garcia and Renee Laurenzana came up .03 shy of tying the school record with a new PR and provisional time of 12:01.52.

UP NEXT
With three provisional times in the indoor season, CSUSM will now wait to see if they're selected for any events at the 2022 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kansas.
