SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (5-4-3, 3-1-1 CCAA) posted a scoreless draw against Cal State LA (5-2-4, 2-0-3 CCAA) on Thursday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Golden Eagles outshot the Cougars 3-1 in the first half and had a 2-0 advantage on corner kicks.
• Both teams tallied just one shot in the second half.

 
QUICK KICKS

• Sierra Moore and Megan Tomasetti had the Cougars' two shots for the game while Tomasetti had CSUSM's lone shot on goal.
• Allison Marcure posted her sixth shutout in goal this season.
• This was the first-ever draw between CSUSM and LA in their eight meetings.
• Earning a point, CSUSM is now in a three-way tie for first in the CCAA standings with Sonoma State and Cal Poly Pomona.
