SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team kept their 2021 record unblemished with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Biola on Saturday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After receiving a throw-in to just outside the left part of the box in the 30th minute, BU's Jamir completed a pass to just in front of the Cougar keeper. Off the pass, Maranville took a low shot into the bottom left corner of the goal to put the Eagles up 1-0.
- After a short goal kick to just outside the box, Tomasetti intercepted a Biola pass at the top of the box. After a short dribble to the left side and no defenders to beat, Tomasetti took a shot into the bottom right corner to knot things up at 1-1 with her first career goal in the 30th minute.
- In the 60th minute, Moore placed a one-bounce ball into the center of the box on a free kick from 35 yards out on the left side. King proceeded to head the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal from the right side and gave CSUSM the lead at 2-1 with her team-leading second goal of the season.

- Moore's assist gave her a team-leading two for the year.
- The Cougars' six goals in their first three games are the most since 2013 when they recorded eight in that same stretch.
