COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos women's cross country team sent four Cougars to compete at UC Riverside's Highlander Invitational that featured 262 runners on Saturday morning.
FINISH LINE
- Grace Handler was the first Cougar to cross the finish line, setting the pace for CSUSM at 23:10.2 for 112th place.
- Gianna Gonzales turned in a time of 23:46.1 (147th), followed by Erin MacNeil's time of 24:11.7 (173rd).
- Daria Bonds clocked a time of 28:08.4 for 253rd place.
WHAT'S NEXT
CSUSM will host the CCAA Championships for the first time in program history next Saturday. The women's race begins at 9 a.m. followed by the men's at 10 a.m. on the CSUSM Championship Course.
