SAN MARCOS, Calif. – In its final tune-up game before the 2019 season, the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team earned a 3-2 overtime win in an exhibition against the University of Redlands on Friday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Redlands' Derrin Valeri had the game's first goal in the 21st minute to put the Bulldogs up 1-0.
- CSUSM's Reyes scored the Cougars' first goal of the season to knot the game at 1-1 in the 36th minute with shot to the top right corner.
- Tied at 1-1 in the 87th minute, the Cougars' Williamson put CSUSM up 2-1 on a penalty kick to the bottom left corner.
- Breaking away from the pack, Redlands' Steve Acuna tied the game once again at 2-all in the 89th minute with a shot to the bottom right corner halfway into the box.
- After a foul in the box set up a CSUSM penalty kick, Camilo Salazar punched the game-winning goal into the right corner of the net to seal the win.
