SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos baseball team fell 7-4 in 10 innings against Stanislaus State in its California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) series finale on Sunday at CSUSM Baseball Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning on an RBI double by Teisher and an infield error by the Warriors.
- The Warriors got on the board in the top of the fifth inning with a bases-loaded walk, but the Cougars got out of the jam by turning a 4-6-3 double play to end the inning.
- Stan State took a 4-2 lead in the top of the seventh with an RBI single to right by Vinny Margiotta and a two-run single by Alexis Paz.
- CSUSM knotted the game at 4-all in the bottom of the seventh as Teisher scored on a wild pitch before Van Til hit an RBI single to short.
- In the top of the 10th inning, the tide turned in favor of the Warriors as they plated three runs on a wild pitch, a sacrifice fly to center and an RBI single.
