Box Score POMONA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's basketball fell 78-59 to RV/RV Cal Poly Pomona in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action on Thursday night at Kellogg Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Broncos took their largest lead of the half with 55 seconds remaining on Finn Eckhardt's dunk to make it 36-17.
• Alec Frank connected on a 3-pointer as time ran out in the opening half as the Cougars trailed 36-21 to CPP at the break.
• CPP shot 58.3% (14-of-24) from the field in the first 20 minutes.
• CSUSM opened the second half with an 8-0 run to cut the deficit to 36-29.
• The Broncos responded with their own run at 13-0 to extend their cushion to 49-29.
• CSUSM shot 44.8% (13-of-29) in the second half.

• CSUSM dropped to 5-6 (1-4 CCAA) while CPP improved to 8-2 (4-1 CCAA).
• The Broncos shot 53% (28-of-52) from the field while holding the Cougars to 35.8% (19-of-53).
