SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team clinched a spot in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Tournament with a sweep over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday night in The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars traded leads with CSUDH until they reached double-digits in points. CSUSM collected a 25-19 victory in the first set.Â
- CSUSM got out to a 11-4 start in the second set, but the Toros powered back to cut the Cougars' lead to 21-18. CSUSM matched the first set's score of 25-19 to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
- After the third set started off with each team trading leads, the Cougars took control at the 9-7Â mark with a 13-3 run to give them a 20-12 lead. CSUSM's match point came on a Grecia Cordero-Barr kill to the back corner to notch the win at 25-18.Â

- The Cougars improve to 15-8 (9-5 CCAA) while the Toros drop to 12-10 (5-9 CCAA) on the season.
