SAN MARCOS, Calif. – In its fourth double-overtime game in the last five outings, the Cal State San Marcos fell 1-0 to No. 18 Cal State San Bernardino in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play on Friday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Coyotes came out firing shots in the first half with a 9-4 shot advantage while Tesar made five saves for the Cougars.
- The second half saw CSUSB post a 6-5 advantage on shots while CSUSM took two shots on goal to the Coyotes' one.
- The Cougars' had the lone shot on goal in the first overtime period as Aaron Alvarez's shot to the lower corner was saved.
- In the 105th minute, the Coyotes' Frank Daroma received a pass to the left side from Jonathan Garcia at midfield. Daroma cut across the middle of the box and sailed a shot into the upper left corner of the goal to clinch the victory for CSUSB.
