LA JOLLA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team fell 2-0 to No. 2 UC San Diego in California Collegiate Athletics Association (CCAA) play on Wednesday night at Triton Soccer Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Just before halftime in the 44th minute, UCSD's Ashlynn Kolarik took a shot from just outside of the box on the right side that found the top corner right of the goal.
- After receiving a pass from the left side by Kolarik, the Tritons' Christina Oddone took a shot from the right side of the box. The shot went off a CSUSM defender and into the right corner of the goal in the 81st minute.

- CSUSM falls to 4-7-2 (4-5 CCAA) while UCSD moves to 13-0-1 (8-0-1 CCAA).
- The Tritons held an 18-7 advantage on shots, but the Cougars had the upper hand with shots on goal at 4-3.
